A NOTE ON A USE OF STEREOPHOTOGRAPHY IN TUNNELLING

Stereophotography offers a means of recording and measuring the profile of a section of a tunnel face. The method is described and selected stereopairs illustrating the cutting patterns on the faces of tunnels in chalk produced by pick and disc cutting tools are presented together with profiles obtained from these. /Author/TRRL/
