FROST HEAVE CALCULATION MODELS

ROUTANOUSUN MALLINTAMINEN

The aim of this literature survey is to define models for the calculation of frost heave in road subgrades, the physical process used to describe freezing in the models and to evaluate the suitability of the models for determining variations in frost heave in road structures and the temperature and water content in them during and after freezing.
