TRAFFIC SAFETY MEASURES AND COST EFFECTIVENESS RATIOS. PART 5: AN INVENTORY OF POSSIBLE TRAFFIC SAFETY MEASURES
AATGAERDER. BILAGA 5 TILL SAMHAELLSEKONOMISK PRIORITERING AV TRAFIKSAEKERHETSAATGAERDER
This report presents an inventory of possible traffic safety measures. Possible measures were judged according to three criteria: 1) traffic safety effect; 2) other effects and costs; 3) traffic safety potential. Measures with a (documented) positive traffic safety effect, known other effects and costs, and a high traffic safety potential were added on a short list. A number of interesting measures, but for which the effect is not documented, were discussed at a seminar. At this seminar the cost-effectiveness ratio of each measures was judged on a scale from one to five. For the main report see IRRD 869577. (A)
