DISTRIBUTION OF PRESSURE UNDER AN AIR-CUSHION VEHICLE

A theoretical calculation of pressure distribution under an air-cushion vehicle, as a function of its geometrical shape, and its effect on that distribution, is presented. Varying pressure distribution with different geometrical parameters of the cushion was studied and the results are illustrated by graphs. The effect of each geometrical parameter on the pressure distribution was also analyzed.
