CHARACTERISTICS OF SOME HAND-GRINDERS DRIVEN BY DIFFERENT MEANS

When choosing the correct type of hand-grinders it is not always clear whether or not pneumatic grinders may be replaced with grinders driven by high frequency current. This investigation has shown that i> under non-continuous load electrical grinders have greater grinding- and manipulation-capacity; ii> under continuous load pneumatic drills are more productive; iii> pneumatic grinders show greater wear of the grinder-surface; iv> both types of grinders show similar manipulability under normal production load.
