ASSESSMENT OF INTACT STABILITY OF CARGO BARGES

Cargo barges play an important part in North Sea oil and gas operations carrying a number of cargoes such as steel jackets and modules. This paper discusses the determination of criteria for intact stability and suggests some new approaches to the question of barge stability.
