BRIDGE AUTOMATION FOR SMALL VESSELS

The problems of bridge automation and instrumentation on board small ships are considered in relation to the planned reorganisation of the Italian oceanographic fleet. A solution is proposed using a network with serial connections and suitable separation of information source, processor and display.
