TECHNOLOGY, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF OFFSHORE INSTALLATIONS

Terotechnology is defined as a combination of management, financial, engineering and other practices applied to physical assets in pursuit of economic life cycle costs. This article outlines the interdisciplinary approach to maintenance in the Norwegian offshore industry. Some predictions are made of the future application of terotechnology to planned maintenance and condition monitoring systems.
