SPECIFICATION FOR AUTOMOTIVE LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GAS

This British Standard has been prepared under the direction of the Petroleum Standards Policy Commitee and is the English language version of EN 589 : 1993. It supersedes BS 4250 : Part 2 :1987, which is withdrawn. It specifies requirements and methods of test for automotive LPG (liquified petroleum gases) as marketed and as delivered in the countries of the members of the CEN. Attention is drawn to the risk of fire and explosion when handling LPG and to the hazard to health if accidentally inhaled.
