RAILWAY ROLLING STOCK: ON-BOARD ELECTRONICS, MAINTENANCE AND SIMULATION
Railway rolling stock has undergone significant developments, particularly in relation to performance. The driving force behind the Railway Rolling Stock Department to control costs and improve performance levels has been the department's motivation to find the best means to achieve an efficient maintenance procedure for complex electronic equipment. Simulation has been found to be the best way of insuring high performance maintenance and has also become essential in the process of validating safety software and validating system functioning.
