CENTRAL LONDON COACH SURVEY 1993

This report gives details of the 1993 survey of coach movements in and out of central London, carried out in August 1993. The survey was undertaken by Wootton Jeffreys Consultants Ltd under contract to the Department of Transport (DOT). Compared with the previous survey conducted in August 1991, the 1993 survey showed a clear increase in the total number of coaches entering and leaving central London. Weekday flows were 8% higher and Saturday flows were 14% higher. Commuter and express services were little changed.
