THE INFLUENCE OF DRIVER'S SEX ON DRIVING BEHAVIOUR: AN ANALYSIS OF DRIVERS WHO CAUSE ROAD ACCIDENTS
The purpose of this research was to analyze the cause of the different probabilities of accident road risk between male and female drivers. The factors explaining the differences are: a lower number of female drivers, lower hours spent driving the car and the different types of mobility of the two sexes. The most interesting element coming out of the study was that from the different types of accident it was possible to trace back the difference in car use. (A)
