GLOBAL DEMAND FOR MUNI PROJECT FINANCE OPENS DOOR FOR BANKERS, TURNKEY BUILDERS

This article describes the efforts of the World Bank and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to create public-sector finance capabilities in foreign countries. Globally, municipalities must learn to finance water, sewer, and transport projects, such as Hungary's M1/M15 Motorway from Budapest to Vienna. The article identifies other "public-sector finance" infrastructure projects worldwide.
