SURVEY OF STATE DOT PERSPECTIVES ON INTERCHANGES
This paper presents the results of a survey undertaken to document the types of interchanges currently in operation. The survey was intended to identify knowledge gaps in both interchange characteristics and specific operational features, to help set priorities for future research and development. The questionnaire/survey was sent to thirty-two traffic engineers in twenty-six states. The response rate was 75%.
