TRAINING NEEDS OF THE URBAN TRANSPORT SUB-SECTOR IN NIGERIA. THE EXPERIENCE OF THE FEDERAL URBAN MASS TRANSIT PROGRAMME

The Federal Urban Mass Transit Programme (FUMTP) in Nigeria was established in 1988 by the government. Through this programme, public owned transport companies and to a lesser extent private operators are receiving assistance to repair their vehicle fleet.
