DETERMINATION OF VISUAL DISTANCE AS A FUNCTION OF PHOTOMETRIC PARAMETERS
This paper presents the results of a night time experiment performed outside Athens in mid-January 1993. The purpose of this experiment was to investigate how obstacles on the road surface can be perceived by drivers under various conditions of road lighting and contrast (A).
