ON-SITE WORK IS ACCURATE AND EFFECTIVE

The conviction of many ship operators that precise and effective machining can only be carried out in fully equipped workshops is gradually being overcome by the development, over the years, of onsite machining of damaged crankshafts, drive shafts, and engine seatings or facings. The growth in the demand for in-situ machining is discussed, a growth catalyzed by the increasing importance of keeping off-hire days to a minimum in the face of rising labor and freight costs.
