COMPONENTS OF PROPULSIVE EFFICIENCY AS A FUNCTION OF BLOCK COEFFICIENT AND SCREW DIAMETER FOR FULL SHIPS

Systematic studies were carried out on the propulsive characteristics of full-form ships whose block coefficients varied from 0.79 to 0.85. Based on the results, the functional dependence of particular components of propulsive efficiency is established-- for example, that of the coefficients of wake, thrust deduction and rotative efficiency in relation to the block coefficient and diameter of the screw propeller.
