MICROCOMPUTER CONTROL OF MARINE TRANSPORTATION REFRIGERATION UNIT

The Mitsubishi Micro-Computerized Controller II (MMCC II), a control system developed by MHI, Japan, for use with refrigerated containers, is described. The system is designed to give high- accuracy performance and to be capable of multiple functions. Features of the MMCC II include: more accurate temperature control; special functions, such as humidity control, ventilation control, and auto-defrost control; an Auto PTI (Pre-trip inspection) function; a data recording function covering operation and transportation; and a communications port for an IC card system, power line remote monitoring and control system, and hand-held computer.
