VIBRATION AND DEBRIS ANALYSIS FOR CONDITION MONITORING OF GEAR BOXES--AN INTEGRATED APPROACH
This paper examines various options available for the condition monitoring of gearboxes. It is suggested that a hybrid approach be used that integrates both vibration analysis data and debris monitoring data within a rule-based framework. General gear and roller bearing problems are reviewed and case studies are presented.
