DISTRIBUTION OF BERTHING SPEED AND ECCENTRICITY FACTOR OF VLCC INVESTIGATED IN JAPAN
Berthing speed and the eccentricity factor were measured at a number of deepwater tanker terminals in Japan as part of the investigation of the berthing energy of very large crude carriers. The results obtained are discussed and their statistical distributions graphed.
