THE INTERNATIONAL RADIO-MEDICAL CENTER
This presentation is included under the sixth category, "Special Papers," in the Proceedings of the 5th European Nautical Medical Meeting. It describes the structure and organization of the International Radio Medical Center (CIRM), a foundation started in 1935 and headquartered in Rome. CIRM supplies medical assistance by radio to ships without a doctor on board, and to others. It also arranges air evacuation of patients, as needed. The discussion of CIRM accompanied a slide presentation.
