SHIPBOARD ELECTRIC DRIVES IN FLOODED COMPARTMENTS
The behavior of a shipboard electric drive that accidentally becomes flooded is described. Serviceability is dependent upon speed, and ways are suggested to overcome this problem and maintain operability in water at all speeds.
