LOW-TEMPERATURE CORROSION OF THE WASTE RECOVERY HEATING SURFACES OF A MARINE AUXILIARY BOILER

An investigation into the composition of fuel combustion products, low-temperature corrosion and deposit formation in marine auxiliary boilers is described. It is shown that the boilers can make more complete use of the heat from escaping gases if wall temperature is reduced.
