FEASIBILITY AND COST-EFFECTIVENESS OF CONTROLLING EMISSIONS FROM DIESEL ENGINES IN RAIL, MARINE, CONSTRUCTION, FARM, AND OTHER MOBILE OFF-HIGHWAY EQUIPMENT
Radian Corporation was commissioned by the Environmental Protection Agency to study the feasibility and cost effectiveness of emission controls in off-highway diesel-powered equipment. This report presents the results of these studies. Preliminary estimates of achievable emission controls and the cost effectiveness of such controls for high-speed and medium speed marine diesel engines are presented.
