LONG TERM EFFECTIVENESS OF EMBEDDED SEA BED ANCHORS

The establishment of the life of a sea bed anchor, based on soil- anchor interaction criteria, is a priority if there is to be confidence in the long term effectiveness of embedded anchor systems. The types of available embedded systems and their behavioral characteristics in the face of repeated uplift loading are reviewed.
