STIRLING ENGINES FOR SHIPS

DER STIRLINGMOTOR FUER AUFGABEN MEERESTECHNIK

The possibility of applying Stirling engines, combined with a nuclear energy source, for a range of 1 to 100 kw as a ship propulsion source has been studied. The results show that such an engine has high efficiency in converting energy in that range and thus emerging as a candidate for application on ships. In German.
