The first part of this article showed that there has been some misunderstanding about the value of creep obtained in a driving wheel exerting a tractive effort and a revised expression for this was obtained. In this second part, values so calculated are compared with values measured both in the laboratory and in service. While the estimated values of creep are confirmed, it is shown that there are certain other factors occuring in service which must also be taken into account.
