THE ROLE OF THE ASIAN DEVELOPMENT BANK IN PORT DEVELOPMENT FINANCE
The Asian Development Bank (ADB), an international partnership of 47 member nations, promotes economic and social progress in its developing member countries. It was established in December 1966, with headquarters in Manila, the Philippines. Its principal functions are listed, and there is a tabular presentation of a typical project cycle. The seven issues that ADB requires to be addressed during project formulation are enumerated. The article concludes by discussing project implementation and repayment of loans.
