PROBLEMS WITH PORT ACCESS: A VIEW FROM THREE COASTS (PANEL PRESENTATIONS AND DISCUSSION)

The topic addressed by this panel is port access. Efficient landside access is becoming a key factor for North American ports trying to stay competitive in a growing intermodal market, requiring speedy movement of containers between ship, truck, and rail. Panelists represent the Port of Seattle, the Port of Los Angeles, the Port of New Orleans, the Jacksonville Port Authority, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
