CONSIDERATION OF SATURATION OF AN ELECTRIC MOTOR IN CALCULATIONS OF THE CHARACTERISTICS OF FREQUENCY-CONTROLLED ELECTRIC DRIVE

In calculating the characteristics of an asynchronous motor in an electric drive with frequency control of angular velocity, particularly in traction drive, it is necessary to take into account changes in the magnetizing circuit of the asynchronous motor following changes in the magnetic current. For this purpose, it is necessary to solve a system of three equations, one of which is nonlinear. The sequence of calculation is described and a subprogram is compiled which permits computer-aided computation of the characteristics of an asynchronous electric drive.
