ORCENT: A DIGITAL COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR SATURATED AND LOW SUPERHEAT STEAM TURBINE CYCLE ANALYSIS
The program will perform full-load, design point calculations for steam turbine cycles supplied with throttle steam characteristic of contemporary water reactor power plants and will handle both condensing and back-pressure turbine exhaust arrangements. Turbine performance calculations are based on the General Electric Company method for large steam turbine generators operating with saturated and low superheat throttle steam. Output includes all information normally shown on a turbine cycle heat balance diagram. The program is written in Fortran 4 for the IBM 360/75 computer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. ( auth )
