THE DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION AND FIRST YEAR'S EXPERIENCE OF AN END-RESULT SPECIFICATION FOR HOT MIX IN ONTARIO
This paper presents some background to the development of a hot mix acceptance system, the major features of the procedure in its final form are explained in some detail and the results of the first year's experience are presented. The system was introduced on all Ministry contracts after January 1, 1991. Generally the procedure worked well during the first year of implementation and no major changes are anticipated in the immediate future.
