PALLETIZING OR CONTAINERIZATION. A "GALE WARNING"

In connection with ISO conference in which some international standards have been established in relation to sizes of pallets and shipping containers, the author discusses the state -of -the -art of these two aspects of packaging in West Germany. Particular attention is given to the following topics-transportation chains, the sizes of packages used in various industries, pallets, their standardized sizes and materials used, sea-shipping containers, internal containers, and airfreight containers.
