STUDY ON STABILITY OF CUT SLOPES AND QUANTITATIVE MEASUREMENT OF FISSURES IN NATURAL ROCKS
The author describes a laboratory test from which the relationship between the velocity of supersonic waves passing through natural rock and the number of fissures in the rock can be determined. A relation between slope design and the number of fissures estimated by the velocity of supersonic waves was obtained. See also IRRD abstract no. 216173 /TRRL/
