Meta Trans Info is an information system developed by the National Center for Regional Mobility at George Mason University. This system contains information about transit information as well as other information important to the transit industry through an easy-to-use on-line computer system. The system contains essential information necessary for such diverse groups as transit property managers, metropolitan planning organizations, telecommuting groups, ride sharing groups, and others concerned with mobility and clean air. Meta Transit Info contains: The Resource Information System (RIS); information about and access to on-line databases, e.g. TRIS, UMTRIS, NTIS etc.; E-Mail; Events calendar; lists of organizations; FTA publications; a bulletin board; and newsletters.
