ORGANIZATION CHARTS OF AASHTO MEMBER DEPARTMENTS, 1992. REVISED JANUARY 6, 1993

Beginning in 1988 the AASHTO Administrative Subcommittee on Personnel and Human Resources assumed responsibility for publishing a biennial compilation of AASHTO member agency Organization Charts. As agency priorities shifted and new programs became necessary, AASHTO members have found these publications to be very useful in observing how other departments have organized to meet similar program challenges. Incorporated in the 1992 Report are Organization Charts submitted by each State and a number of Associate and Affiliate Members in response to a survey conducted during the summer of 1992. The original Organization Charts ranged from being quite brief to the extreme of setting forth multiple layers of the organization. In republishing these Charts, the Subcommittee has attempted to limit them to the first three functional executive levels within each organization.
