MODIFICATIONS OF THE UNDULATORY PHENOMENA IN TRACTION NETWORKS DUE TO CAPACITY COMPENSATION DEVICES

IZMENENIE VOLVOVYH PROCESSOV V TJAGOVYH SETJAH USTROJSTVAMI EMKOSTNOJ KOMPENSACII

The article examines: - the problem of the use of reactive-power capacity-compensation devices to reduce current harmonies in a traction network, - the problem of reduction of the induced disruptive voltage in telecommunications circuits. The authors conclude that installation of such devices at switching points reduces the induced disruptive voltage in telecommunications circuits. The article provides the layouts and working parameters of this device, and those of a traction network so equipped.
