ANCHORS IN CONCRETE--DESIGN AND BEHAVIOR

The eleven papers in this volume are primarily from two symposiums sponsored by ACI Committee 355, Anchorage to Concrete. The symposiums were held during the American Concrete Institute conventions in San Diego (1989) and Toronto (1990). The papers are as follows: Design Guidelines for Anchorage to Concrete, H. Wiewel; Evaluation of Expansion Anchor Ultimate Tensile Capacity Prediction Equations, R. Walther, C. Sutton, and D. Meinheit; Load-Relaxation Tests on Heavy Duty Sleeve and Lead Caulking Expansion Anchors, G. Senkiw; Behavior of Ductile Multiple-Anchor Steel-to-Concrete Connections with Surface-Mounted Baseplates, R. Cook and R. Klingner; Behavior, Design and Testing of Anchors in Cracked Concrete, R. Eligehausen; Embedment Design Examples Based on ACI 349 Appendix B, R. Orr; Behaviour of Fasteners under Monotonic or Cyclic Shear Displacements, E. Vintzeleou and R.
