POTREBA STANDARDIZACIJE USLUZNIH PRATECIH OBJEKATA UZ AUTOCESTU

Based on data from literature, this paper makes suggestions for the development of service area functions on motorways such as rest areas, parking, service stations, motels etc, and the calculation of their capacity. It points to the need for standardization of the construction of service areas, especially in the case of the Adriatic motorway, because of tourism and specific demands of road users.
