MIXING PLANTS IN THE ADRIATIC MOTORWAY CONSTRUCTION. IN: PROCEEDINGS - 1ST SYMPOSIUM ON TRAFFIC AND ENGINEERING ASPECTS OF ADRIATIC MOTORWAY, DUBROVNIK. 13-15 NOVEMBER 1989

ASFALTNE BAZE U IZGRADNJI JADRANSKE AUTOCESTE

The paper compares the quantity of bituminous mixtures necessary for the construction of the Adriatic motorway pavements with the daily capacity of mixing plants. It has been confirmed that out of 17 mixing plants, only 4 of them with average capacity can satisfy daily requirements for bituminous mixtures, i.e. the lower level of their demands. It also reviews the influence of the mixing plants' location, natural resources and the possibility of selecting the pavement type. For the covering abstract of the conference see IRRD 833144.
