SPECIAL TOPICS IN CONCRETE PLACEMENT. THE PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY OF HIGH-STRENGTH CONCRETE

High-strength concrete is becoming increasingly popular in the greater Seattle area. Testing labs and consultants in the area claim that because of the high quality of aggregates available, concrete with a strength of 20,000 psi should not be difficult to produce. Results of many laboratory tests have proven this to be true, but much of this research has gone on without fully considering the ready-mixed concrete supplier. They are vey important to the team effort that is necessary to produce high-strength concrete, and therefore most be involved in all aspects of the job, including the planning.
