CRACK-BRIDGING BEHAVIOUR OF PROTECTIVE COATINGS SUBJECTED TO NATURAL WEATHERING . PROTECTION OF CONCRETE. PROCEEDINGS OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY OF DUNDEE, SEPTEMBER 11-13, 1990
The crack-bridging properties of protective polymer coatings on certain concrete structures are a basic supposition for the durability of protection measures. The technological requirements and testing concept for protective coatings with crack-bridging properties - as described in German regulations - are presented. First test results with commercial polymer coatings subjected to artificial weathering and crack-bridging test are discussed. (Author/TRRL)
