This study is concerned with the statistical analysis of the sensitivity of a base-isolated structure to wind excitations. In this study the structure is modeled as a rigid block. The fluctuating part of the wind velocity is treated as a stationary random process. For the laminated rubber bearing, the high damping laminated rubber bearing, and the resilient-friction base-isolation systems, the displacement response of the structure is statistically analyzed. The method of equivalent linearization for the response analysis of the frictional and high damping rubber systems is used, and the sensitivity of base-isolatd structures to wind loading under different conditions is studied.
