EXCAVATING UNDER THE JURA MOUNTAINS BY DRILL+BLAST AND ROADHEADER

Switzerland is going to need a lot of underground links on the new roads and rail lines envisaged for the future. One of the new roads is the 50km-long section of the N16, where excavation of the Mont Terri road tunnel is currently progressing under the Jura Mountains.
