THE PLANNING OF A LIGHT RAILWAY FOR THREE NEW TOWNS IN HONG KONG. IN: URBAN TRANSPORT IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES: LESSONS IN INNOVATION

One of the newest of the world's growing number of light rail transit systems is the "Northwest Railway" in Hong Kong. This light rail railway connects the two new towns of Tuen Mun and Yuen Long, and will eventually link a third. This review proposes to concentrate on the light railway's problems.
