TUNNELLED-CUM-PIPE JACKED SOLUTION
The existing combined sewerage system in Ramsgate, Kent, dates from Victorian times and many of the sewers are either hydraulically overloaded or in poor structural condition. A new sewerage system has been designed which takes these problems into account, as well as providing significant storm spill reduction to the marine environment in order to comply with National Rivers Authority discharge consent conditions.
