RELIABILITY MODEL FOR SOIL LINER: POSTCONSTRUCTION. DISCUSSION
This is a discussion of a paper of the above title by I. Bogardi, W.E. Kelly, and A. Bardossy published in October 1990 Vol. 116, No 10 of this Journal. Several conceptual issues in the original paper are discussed. These issues relate to reliability modeling and permeability prediction of the soil liner. An important question concerning the flow path through the liner is also discussed, as well other aspects. The discussion is followed by a closure by the authors.
