PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS INCREASE EFFICIENCY, LOCAL SUPPORT
Article describing the long-term benefits of a pavement management system that is computerized. Several case studies regarding the use of pavement management systems have suggested that the public and elected officials will support a long term cost effective street maintenance program if they understand the long term consequences of their actions.
