RAIL/AIR INTERFACE: SPECIAL REPORT
Airports across Europe are extending their existing rail services and constructing or planning new links. Concerns about surface congestion and pollution together with improved rail technology have encouraged more airport planners to look at bringing trains to airports as part of a fully integrated transport structure. This article looks at both existing and planned European rail-air links.
